Emergency Management

The Williamson County Emergency Management Agency provides a Local Shelter Program. Certain Facilities have agreed to open for those needing a safe place when a high level, severe weather threat exists for our area and when the EMA makes such a request. The facilities located within the Marion city limits are as follows:

• First Church of God - 1409 Broeking Rd.
• Heartland Christian Church - 900 E. Boyton St.
• St. Joseph's Catholic Church - 600 N. Russell St.
• Zion Church of Christ - 930 W. Cherry St.
• First United Methodist Church - 208 W. Main St.

Local media will announce on any given day that the "Local Storm Shelters" will be open during a particular time period.
